The Report Lessons Learned from Child Led Disaster
Risk Reduction Project in Thailand
Save the Children Sweden and UK in Thailand
The Report “Lessons Learned from Child Led Disaster
Risk Reduction Project in Thailand” is a result of the efforts of the Save the Children Sweden and UK in Thailand to document the process, outcomes and lessons that we have learnt from implementing this six-month pilot project on Child-Led Disaster Risk Reduction in Thailand. This project is based on our belief that children can play an active role in community’s affairs such as disaster risk reduction, especially if they are appropriately trained and supported by adults.
Living with disasters and changing climate
Save the Children
Living with disasters and changing
climate is about children, disaster risk
reduction, and climate change. Based on
Save the Children’s experience in Child-centred
disaster risk reduction in Southeast
Asia, this book is a collection of children’s
stories and statements about their views
on disasters and climate change and their
impact on the children’s lives, and how they
can do something about it.
