Through the lens: Children from different schools in Ranong Province, government officials, teachers, and school principals watch a film recorded and produced by children. Children convey their ideas of creating a child-friendly community through films, photos, posters, and animated drawings, and have used the materials to convince adults in the community to support their initiatives.

In a film produced by a children group from Hat Sai Kao community, children shot worn out recreational equipment on playground which posed hazardous and unsafe conditions for children. The children group also interviewed children who suffered minor injuries from using the equipment at the playground. The group has invited adults to view the film and sought supports from adults in the community to repair the playground. Their hope: make the community safer for children.
